Data: Yesterday, the amount of Ethereum burned reached 5222.45 ETH, setting a new high since March 14

ChainCatcher news, Etherscan posted on social media that the sharp fluctuations in the market yesterday may have led to a surge in on-chain activity and Gas fees on the Ethereum network. The amount of ETH burned yesterday reached 5222.45 ETH, the highest level since March 14 (the day after the Dencun upgrade).

The base fee for block 20459019 once soared to 701.7 gwei.
