Ripple: Ripple and its executives will not request funds to be sent; users are advised to be cautious of fraudulent social media accounts

ChainCatcher message, Ripple stated on social media that, following the judge's ruling that Ripple's sale of XRP to retail investors did not violate federal securities laws, there has been an increase in fraudulent activities related to Ripple.

Ripple warns to be cautious of unofficial "Ripple" accounts, as well as fake executive accounts, or other social media accounts promoting "XRP giveaways" or "XRP airdrops." Ripple and its executives will never ask you to send funds anywhere.
