Offchain Labs releases the Arbitrum technical roadmap, focusing on decentralized sequencing and other topics
ChainCatcher news, Arbitrum developer Offchain Labs has released the future technology roadmap for Arbitrum, focusing on:
- Stylus will launch next month on the Arbitrum One and Nova mainnets, supporting WASM languages such as Rust, C, and C++;
- BoLD and review timeout features will be launched in the second half of the year, enhancing security and decentralization;
- A decentralized sequencer is expected to be implemented in 2025, distributing the responsibility of transaction ordering;
- The fast withdrawal feature will be released in Q3 2024, enabling rapid settlement between AnyTrust chains and parent chains;
The Chain Clusters are planned for launch in 2025, aimed at reducing cross-chain communication time. Additionally, Offchain Labs plans to achieve multi-client support and adaptive pricing mechanisms in the first half of 2025 to improve performance and efficiency.
