ChainCatcher news, EigenLayer announces the second quarter staking airdrop plan, which will distribute 86 million EIGEN tokens, accounting for 5% of the total supply.

Stakers and node operators will receive 70 million tokens, while ecosystem partners and the EigenLayer community will receive 10 million and 6 million tokens respectively. The distribution will begin on September 17. These tokens account for approximately 5% of the total EIGEN supply, which will reach 1.67 billion tokens at launch.
