Vitalik: Beware of the "smart" label on smart wallets; attention should be paid to the security of wallet design

ChainCatcher message, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated on the X platform, "By default, we should actually be skeptical of the popular term 'smart', because historically, it has often been a cool way to package issues like centralized control, data leaks, etc. (see many 'smart home' products).

To ask the specific question. Does the design of wallets really push the boundaries in protecting users from malicious centralized actions and their own mistakes? A well-designed wallet can indeed do this. Conversely, a poorly designed one may have the opposite effect."
