WalletConnect: No official app available, fake apps have been removed from the Google Play Store
ChainCatcher message, the WalletConnect Foundation posted on X that a scam incident has recently been discovered, where criminals developed a malicious application that impersonates the WalletConnect name and listed it on the Google Play Store. The application has now been removed. Please note that WalletConnect does not have an official application, and be wary of such scams.
