French blockchain securities trading platform Kriptown completes €4.2 million Series A funding, led by BNP Paribas and others
ChainCatcher news, the French blockchain securities trading platform Kriptown announced the completion of a €4.2 million Series A funding round, led by BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, and Centilux Family Office, with BNP Paribas and Bpifrance becoming shareholders of the company. The new funds will be used to establish a European stock exchange specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises under the European DLT pilot regime, allowing the creation of financial markets based on blockchain technology.
In addition, Kriptown has officially submitted a DLT TSS (Trading and Settlement System) license application to the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) under the European DLT pilot regime.
