Chairman of the Korea Exchange: It is time to start a social discussion on introducing cryptocurrency ETFs

ChainCatcher news, the chairman of the Korea Exchange, Jung Eun-pyo, stated on the 26th, "Given the harsh reality that cryptocurrency-related assets are surpassing the trading volume of traditional stock markets, it is time to initiate a social discussion on the introduction of cryptocurrency ETFs."

On the same day, Jung Eun-pyo attended the "2024 Seoul Future Forum" hosted by Money Today Broadcasting (MTN) at the Banyan Tree Seoul as a special lecturer and mentioned, "At the recent Global Exchange Federation conference, the biggest topic was the issue of cryptocurrencies."

Jung Eun-pyo then emphasized, "Currently, in the United States and Europe, cryptocurrency ETFs have been listed and traded on traditional exchanges, but we are not yet in a position to discuss the introduction of such ETFs."
