Asset management company REX Financial launches crypto stock yield ETF

ChainCatcher news, asset management company REX Financial has recently launched a new ETF aimed at generating income through issuing options on cryptocurrency stocks.

The REX Crypto Equity Premium Income ETF executes a "covered call" strategy, holding 25 cryptocurrency stocks and issuing out-of-the-money options on these stocks to earn income from the option premiums.

REX stated that the ETF holds stocks in the BITA cryptocurrency assets and digital payment index, including "stocks engaged in cryptocurrency mining, trading, custody, blockchain technology development, and the creation of digital payment solutions."

REX CEO Greg King stated in a press release, "Cryptocurrency is changing the financial ecosystem, and we are applying a targeted covered call strategy to the most disruptive companies in the industry."
