The South Korean National Assembly did not pass the impeachment motion against Yoon Suk-yeol

The impeachment motion against Yoon Suk-yeol was not passed as the majority of the ruling party, the People Power Party, walked out before the vote, boycotting the impeachment motion.

Ultimately, due to the ruling party's boycott, the vote on the impeachment motion did not meet the requirement of at least two-thirds approval from all members and was not passed.

Before the vote that day, South Korea's opposition party stated that even if the motion did not pass the National Assembly vote this time, they would continue to initiate the impeachment motion against Yoon Suk-yeol in the future.
