ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, based on information from the website of the Securities Commission of Malaysia, the Malaysian securities regulator has listed the Web3 wallet service Atomic Wallet among the financial companies prohibited from operating in the country due to its "unregistered operation of a digital asset exchange (DAX)."

The regulator did not provide further clarification, but it is worth noting that Atomic Wallet suffered a hack in 2023, resulting in losses of over $100 million, and has since become the subject of multiple lawsuits.

Currently, Atomic Wallet has been blacklisted along with several other cryptocurrency-related companies that have been prohibited from operating in the country by the Securities Commission of Malaysia, such as Crypto Trade Malaysia and Best Exchange.
