Malaysian regulators: Telegram has begun applying for the licenses required to operate next year
ChainCatcher news, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) stated that Telegram and WeChat have applied for the licenses required to operate their platforms in Malaysia next year.
MCMC said in a statement on Thursday: "Failure to do so may result in regulatory action, which all parties wish to avoid."
