Survey: The proportion of financial advisors allocating to cryptocurrencies in 2024 has doubled to 22%, with 56% of advisors more inclined to invest in cryptocurrencies this year

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, a recent survey by Bitwise Asset Management and VettaFi shows that the percentage of financial advisors allocating cryptocurrency for clients has increased from 11% last year to 22% in 2024. The survey covered 430 financial advisors, including RIAs, broker-dealer representatives, and financial planners, of which 96% reported receiving client inquiries about cryptocurrency last year.

Notably, 56% of advisors indicated that the outcome of the November 2024 election would make them more inclined to invest in cryptocurrency this year. The market anticipates that the new government will be more supportive of the crypto industry, especially regarding the SEC's regulatory stance.
