Vitalik responds to Ethereum Foundation controversy: The decision-making power lies with the new leadership team, social media pressure creates a harmful environment

He made it clear that the decision-making power of the current new leadership team of EF is in his hands, and the ongoing reforms aim to introduce a suitable board for the foundation, but until then, the decision-making power still belongs to him personally.

Vitalik criticized the pressure tactics on social media, stating that they undermine the working environment for excellent developers. He pointed out that such behavior is not only unhelpful for achieving goals but also diminishes his interest in catering to these demands.
