CoinGecko: Ethereum's gas fee revenue in 2024 will reach $2.48 billion, ranking first among all blockchains

ChainCatcher news, cryptocurrency data platform CoinGecko released a research report showing that Ethereum ranks first in blockchain with $2.48 billion in Gas fee revenue in 2024, followed closely by Tron with $2.15 billion, and Bitcoin in third place with $922.89 million.

The report pointed out that in 2024, L1 and L2 blockchains collectively earned over $6.89 billion in transaction fees, with L1 on-chain revenue at $6 billion and L2 on-chain revenue at $294.92 million.
