OpenAI CEO: DeepSeek has weakened OpenAI's leading position

He stated: "We have stood on the wrong side of history regarding open source. I think we need to find a different open source strategy, and not everyone at OpenAI agrees with this view, nor is it our top priority at the moment. We will produce better models, but the competitive advantage will not be as significant as before."
