ZachXBT: Coinbase users were stolen at least 65 million dollars between December 2024 and January 2025

ChainCatcher message, on-chain analyst ZachXBT posted: "I spent time with @tanuki42_ reviewing Coinbase's withdrawal records and collected data from my DMs to confirm with high credibility the theft incidents across different chains.

Between December 2024 and January 2025, the amount stolen from Coinbase users reached $65 million.

Our data may be far below the actual amount stolen, as our data is limited to my DMs and the theft incidents we discovered on-chain, which does not cover the Coinbase support tickets and police reports that we cannot access."
