Robinhood suspends Super Bowl betting service at the request of the CFTC
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Robinhood Markets announced that it has suspended its Super Bowl betting service at the request of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The service, launched on February 4, was available to only about 1% of users, allowing them to bet on the outcome of the Super Bowl game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. Robinhood stated that it will continue to communicate with the CFTC to understand its concerns.
