Offchain Labs has released the Arbitrum BoLD protocol on the mainnet to enable permissionless verification

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Offchain Labs has launched the Arbitrum BoLD protocol on the mainnet to enable permissionless validation. After being approved by governance voting, BoLD is now in use on the Arbitrum chain, One, and Nova.

The system replaces the previously whitelisted validators with a permissionless mechanism, allowing anyone interested in network security to participate.
