OpenAI updates roadmap, will release GPT-4.5 and GPT-5

ChainCatcher message, OpenAI founder Sam Altman updates the OPENAI roadmap regarding GPT-4.5 and GPT-5:

"Next, GPT-4.5, internally referred to as Orion, will be released as OpenAI's last non-Chain-of-Thought model. GPT-5 will be released as a technology integration system in ChatGPT and OpenAI's API, including o3. o3 will no longer be released as a standalone model. Plus subscribers will be able to run GPT-5 at a higher intelligence level, while Pro subscribers will be able to run GPT-5 at an even higher intelligence level. These models will integrate features such as voice, canvas, search, and deep research."
