According to ChainCatcher, reported by Blockspace, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is intensifying the seizure of Bitcoin ASIC miners. In addition to Bitmain, MicroBT and Canaan devices have also been added to the seizure list. Last year, the CBP seized Bitmain Antminer S21 and T21 miners, allegedly due to their inclusion of restricted chip manufacturer Sophgo's AI chips. This seizure is based on the regulation 19 USC 1595a(c)(2)(A), involving unauthorized communication equipment and devices not certified by the FCC.
