Metaplanet CEO: The company's BTC return rate is 18% so far in 2025, currently holding 2100 BTC

ChainCatcher news, Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, stated in a post on X that the company spent approximately $6.6 million to increase its holdings by 68.59 BTC, with an average price of about $96,335, achieving an 18% BTC yield year-to-date as of 2025. As of February 20, 2025, Metaplanet holds 2,100 BTC, with an acquisition cost of approximately $169.9 million and an average price of about $80,905.

In response, Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), commented: "One Basis Point of Bitcoin."
