a16z: If the US SEC provides guidance on token issuance, it could prevent the ownership of blockchain technology developed in the US from being transferred overseas
ChainCatcher message, a16z stated at the cryptocurrency working group meeting of SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce: "If the SEC can provide guidance on token issuance, it will prevent the trend of tokens being issued only to non-U.S. citizens, which effectively transfers the ownership of blockchain technology developed in the U.S. overseas."
