ChainCatcher news, Sonic Labs co-founder Andre Cronje posted: "I'm pretty sure our team has cracked the algorithmic stablecoin, but given past events, I'm not sure we should implement it." Andre Cronje hinted that the potential algorithmic stablecoin would be an independent project from Sonic (formerly known as Fantom).

Additionally, a user suggested that Andre Cronje name the product "Anchor," in honor of the decentralized lending platform Anchor Protocol that drove the widespread adoption of UST. Andre Cronje seems to be considering this request.
