ChainCatcher news, Galaxy Digital has obtained permission to conduct derivatives trading through its London office in the UK. Since 2020, companies engaging in certain crypto asset activities in the UK must comply with the revised regulations on money laundering, terrorist financing, and funds transfer, and register with the FCA. Currently, there are 51 companies on the crypto asset register, including Coinbase, Fidelity, Gemini, and Kraken. Due to the FCA's stringent approval process, only about 14% of applications are approved.
