Kraken partners with Mastercard to launch crypto debit card

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Mastercard has announced that the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken is collaborating with Mastercard to enable cryptocurrency holders in the UK and Europe to use their digital assets for purchases at over 150 million merchants worldwide.

Kraken will provide physical and digital debit cards, allowing customers to use cryptocurrencies and stablecoins in everyday transactions. This is the latest development of the Kraken Pay service, which was launched earlier this year and supports cross-border payments with over 300 cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies. These debit cards are expected to be launched in the coming weeks.
