The U.S. CFTC has clearly stopped regulating the cryptocurrency industry through litigation
ChainCatcher News, Acting Chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Caroline D. Pham expressed support for the Department of Justice's announcement to terminate the policy of regulating the cryptocurrency industry through prosecution, and instructed the CFTC not to file lawsuits based on violations of the registration provisions of the Commodity Exchange Act in cases where the defendant lacks subjective intent.
