Federal Reserve Governor Bowman will testify before the Senate Banking Committee on Thursday

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Federal Reserve Board Governor Michelle Bowman will be questioned on Thursday at a Senate Banking Committee hearing, where lawmakers will review her nomination to serve as Vice Chair for Supervision.

Bipartisan senators may ask Bowman how she plans to comply with an executive order that limits the power of independent agencies and will want to understand how she will respond to a new initiative—one that requires the largest lending institutions in the U.S. to hold more capital to enhance their ability to withstand losses and financial crises.
