ChainCatcher news, according to Tradingview data, the yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond has risen to 4.414%, an increase of 1.94% in 24 hours.

The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond is known as the "risk-free rate." This indicator is a key data point that the Trump administration hoped to lower in order to refinance trillions of dollars in debt. Typically, when market risk aversion intensifies, investors may increase their demand for safe-haven assets like Treasury bonds, which usually leads to a decrease in the 10-year Treasury yield. However, despite recent market turmoil and a decline in U.S. stocks, the yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond has unexpectedly surged to 4.414%.
