Beijing releases blockchain action plan, aiming to achieve more than 10 breakthrough results by 2027

ChainCatcher news, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, and other departments jointly released the "Beijing Blockchain Innovation Application Development Action Plan (2025-2027)." This plan sets goals for 2027, aiming to enhance the capability of independently controllable blockchain technology to support the national digital infrastructure, striving to achieve more than 10 breakthrough results in core technology fields such as blockchain-specific chips and privacy protection.

In addition, the plan aims to form over 20 excellent application cases in five key areas, including large AI models, and to initially establish a national-level blockchain hub node. This action plan will provide important guidance for the development of blockchain technology in Beijing.
