Coinbase CEO says the GENIUS Act still needs amendments, and a new round of voting is expected early next week

He pointed out that the provision in the bill that "prohibits interest-bearing stablecoins" needs to be amended, emphasizing that the GENIUS bill may ultimately approach presidential signing with bipartisan support. Armstrong stated that "the 52 million American voters holding crypto assets are closely watching."
