ChainCatcher news, according to a report by Forbes, based on the latest documents disclosed by the Federal Election Commission, the Republican National Committee (RNC) paid $317,000 to businesses owned by the Trump family in March 2025. Among them, Mar-a-Lago received $195,000 for venue rental and catering services, the Trump National Doral Golf Club charged $85,000, and Donald Trump Jr.'s publishing company received $35,000 for souvenir production.

Data shows that since 2016, political groups have spent a total of $5.4 million at Mar-a-Lago. Although Trump has recently been actively expanding into new businesses such as cryptocurrency, his traditional commercial assets still maintain a stable source of politically related income. The Washington-based organization for Responsibility and Ethics pointed out that this intertwining of business and political interests has become a typical way for Trump to profit.
