ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) recently seized multiple assets from a man in Queensland, including nearly 25 bitcoins, a waterfront mansion, and a Mercedes-Benz car, with a total value of approximately $2.9 million.

The AFP stated that these assets may be linked to the theft of 950 bitcoins from a French cryptocurrency exchange in 2013. The man had previously been convicted of cyber crimes, including selling data of "League of Legends" players. Although no criminal charges were filed in connection with the bitcoin theft, the court has ordered the confiscation of the related assets, and the proceeds will be used for crime prevention and law enforcement measures.
