OpenSea OS2 is officially launched, with plans to release SEA token airdrop

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the non-fungible token (NFT) trading platform OpenSea has officially opened its upgraded platform OpenSea2 (OS2) to the public. The platform now supports token trading on 19 blockchains, demonstrating a strategic shift from NFTs to a broader cryptocurrency market.

OpenSea co-founder and CEO Devin Finzer stated that OS2 is the foundation of OpenSea's next-generation platform. The platform has also launched a rewards system called "Voyages," where users can earn XP points by completing basic activities, which can be used in the future to obtain the highly anticipated SEA native token airdrop.

Chief Marketing Officer Adam Hollander mentioned in a blog post that the OpenSea Foundation will conduct a token generation event (TGE) only after completing a series of product launches, and the specific issuance date has not yet been determined.
