Twitter is the platform with the highest information density in the crypto industry, where almost all projects engage in their earliest brand expansion and user growth, making it a scene with the most early alpha information in the industry. Nowadays, thousands of projects flood the Twitter information stream every day, making it quite difficult to efficiently discover and filter early alpha information. Besides detailed research on project introductions and products, the Twitter follows of well-known figures have become one of the important signals for many users to judge the prospects of a new project.

However, on the Twitter page, users can only see which accounts they follow are following a particular project, without a specific timeline, and the accounts they follow often have limitations.

In a recent update, RootData has launched the Twitter follow timeline feature, which displays which accounts follow or unfollow each Twitter account daily. This not only covers over 30,000 projects/institutions and individuals recorded in the database but also includes all unrecorded Twitter accounts, meaning anyone can search and view which well-known crypto Twitter accounts follow or unfollow their own or others' Twitter accounts.

Additionally, for over 5,000 recorded well-known Twitter accounts, users can also see which accounts they followed and unfollowed each day. The follow and unfollow data for all Twitter accounts comes from these more than 5,000 well-known Twitter accounts.

With this feature, we can discover many interesting insights by tracking the follow streams of well-known accounts, such as who the earliest followers of a skyrocketing project are, which crypto projects cz and Musk have recently followed or unfollowed, and which projects and individuals have been unfollowed the most recently, etc.

Taking the recent popular project BUILDon as an example, through the Twitter follow timeline, we can see that both 土澳大狮兄 and 嗯哼 had already followed the project's Twitter on May 16, while its token B only began to rise significantly and attract more KOLs' attention on May 22.

Let's also look at the proxy browser project Donut, which recently secured $7 million in funding. On its Twitter follow timeline, Laughing, [Chung-Hsun Chang Chien](https://www.rootdata.com/zh/member/Chung-Hsun Chang Chien?k=MTk5Nzg=), [Jerry Zhou](https://www.rootdata.com/zh/member/Jerry Zhou?k=MTY0Nzg=), [Mike Tomaino](https://www.rootdata.com/zh/member/Mike Tomaino?k=MjAzMzM=), and 嗯哼 are among the relatively early well-known followers.

Through data analysis of more projects, we can identify which KOLs followed early alpha projects earlier, but due to some follow data having a shorter statistical period, more quantitative statistics will be released in 1-2 months.

At the same time, we can also check the follow and unfollow dynamics of well-known figures, such as 何一 recently following Rita, 川沐, and 雕刻, while unfollowing 冰蛙, and 赵长鹏 recently unfollowing 子时 and Travala.com.

To avoid the hassle of users needing to click through different pages to view follow dynamics, we have also launched the X follow data aggregation page, where users can directly view the follow and unfollow dynamics of over a hundred top Twitter accounts daily. The screenshot below shows the summary data from May 29.

Another interesting piece of data is which projects and individuals have been followed the most in recent months? Which have been unfollowed the most?

The 15 projects that have been unfollowed the most are AIXBT, zerebro, Optimism, zkSync, Polygon, Kaito, Arbitrum, Blast, Movement, Scroll, Galxe, Abstract, monchain, Lens Protocol, Avalanche.
