ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, starting from June 1, South Korea allows non-profit organizations to sell virtual assets. Upbit successfully supported the international relief and development NGO World Vision in selling its 0.55 Ethereum (ETH), worth approximately 1.98 million Korean Won. This initiative is implemented based on the "Roadmap for Corporate Participation in the Virtual Asset Market" released by the Financial Services Commission of South Korea, aimed at promoting the development of a virtual asset donation culture.
Upbit operator Dunamu stated that it is ready to support listed companies and professional investors in registering to participate in the virtual asset market, which is the second phase of the roadmap measures.
