ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi Data, the U.S. Department of Justice on Monday requested the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to extend the stay of the tariff invalidation ruling made by a lower court on May 28.

The government stated that this ruling undermines the president's ability to execute foreign policy. The Federal Circuit Court can now decide at any time whether to stay the order during the appeal process, which may last for several months. The U.S. government also indicated that if the appellate court lifts the current stay, it will appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
