Binance assists U.S. and Taiwan law enforcement in dismantling a large dark web drug market

ChainCatcher news, according to BeInCrypto, Binance announced its assistance to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and law enforcement agencies in Taiwan in successfully dismantling the dark web drug market Incognito Market.

The market has a total transaction volume exceeding $100 million, and this joint law enforcement operation resulted in the arrest of 270 individuals, the seizure of over $200 million in cash and crypto assets, 144 kilograms of fentanyl-laced drugs, and 180 firearms. Binance's financial intelligence department identified key operators and assisted in uncovering money laundering pathways, providing support for subsequent investigations.
