Starknet: STRK Staking v2 is scheduled to launch on the mainnet on June 17

ChainCatcher message, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Starknet announced on platform X that STRK Staking v2 is set to launch on the mainnet on June 17. This upgrade brings two key features for validators: block proof and commission adjustment, allowing validators to increase commissions under strict conditions while protecting delegators.

Starknet added that to ensure the stable implementation of this upgrade on the mainnet, the staking contract will be paused for several hours during deployment to facilitate the migration from v1 to v2 and to give validators time for integration.
