Bitcoin developers propose "absolute penalty" for OP_RETURN "garbage people"

ChainCatcher news, according to Protos, Bitcoin developer Peter Todd is formulating an unusual punitive measure against those who oppose his upcoming changes to the Bitcoin network. Todd insists that the default memory pool of Bitcoin Core should be able to accommodate a large amount of enterprise data storage and information unrelated to the movement on the Bitcoin (BTC) chain. However, those who dislike Todd have created so-called "garbage man" software to punish Libre Relay node operators who propagate such large transactions.

Todd is developing countermeasures to protect his software. He hopes that Bitcoin node operators can disconnect from "garbage man" nodes and reliably estimate whether a node is running this "garbage man" attack through complex mathematics and code.
