Meta is trying to poach OpenAI employees with a signing bonus of $100 million
ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that Meta is trying to attract OpenAI's AI researchers by offering signing bonuses of up to $100 million and generous annual salaries, but currently no employees have accepted these terms. Nevertheless, Meta is still actively recruiting, including direct outreach to researchers by CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Meanwhile, the competition for talent in the AI industry is intensifying, with salary levels continuously rising. Anthropic and Google's DeepMind are leading in talent retention, while OpenAI is also striving to retain its top talent.
