Hong Kong's per capita wealth is 4.32 million yuan, ranking third in the world
ChainCatcher news, according to Caixin, UBS's "2025 Global Wealth Report" shows that global personal wealth is expected to grow rapidly for the second consecutive year in 2024. In terms of per capita wealth for adults, Hong Kong ranks third globally, reaching $601,200, approximately 4.32 million RMB, only behind Switzerland and the United States.
The report indicates that global wealth grew by 4.6% in 2024, following a 4.2% increase in 2023, continuing an upward trend. The growth rate of wealth varies across the globe, with North America showing relatively significant growth, driven mainly by a stable dollar and active financial markets. The growth rate in the Asia-Pacific region is below 3%, while the growth rate in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) is below 0.5%.
