Criminals are impersonating official accounts on the X platform, claiming to give away free Ledger and other cold wallets, and actually sending "brand new sealed" real devices, luring users into lowering their guard. The real trap often lies within the device itself or the accompanying initialization instructions, which may involve tampered devices or social engineering to induce users to leak their recovery phrases.
