Iran's Supreme Leader "Advisor": Iran should attack US naval fleets and close the Strait of Hormuz

ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi Data reports, CNN reports that a key advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei is calling for missile strikes against U.S. Navy vessels and the blockade of the critical oil transport route, the Strait of Hormuz. Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of Iran's World Newspaper, warned: "After the U.S. attack on the Fordow nuclear facility, it is now our turn to act." As a well-known conservative voice, he previously claimed to be the "representative" of Supreme Leader Khamenei.

He stated: "As a first step, we must launch missile strikes against the U.S. Navy fleet stationed in Bahrain without hesitation or delay, while closing the Strait of Hormuz to ships from the U.S., UK, Germany, and France." Currently, Supreme Leader Khamenei has not made an official response regarding the U.S. attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
