ChainCatcher message, according to Whale Alert monitoring, Tether Treasury minted an additional 1 billion USDT on the Tron network 1 hour ago. A total of 2 billion USDT has been minted today.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that this is an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning it will be used as inventory for the next issuance request and on-chain swaps.
