The BTFS Protocol v4.0 beta is now live

ChainCatcher news, according to the official Twitter announcement, the BTFS protocol v4.0 beta has officially launched. This upgrade is based on the three major proposals BTIP-89/90/91, focusing on key innovations such as the transformation of storage service providers to dedicated nodes, the unified hosting of file metadata through smart contracts, and the implementation of on-chain governance for distributed decision-making.

This upgrade will enhance the network's reliability, transparency, and degree of decentralization. This version is for testing purposes only, and developers can participate in technical validation based on their needs. Please stay tuned for the mainnet version.
