ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the U.S. Department of Justice has disclosed that North Korean agents impersonated American citizens to work remotely for U.S. companies, stealing cryptocurrency and sensitive information.

In one of the cases, four North Korean nationals were accused of stealing over $900,000 in cryptocurrency from two companies and laundering it through Tornado Cash. The U.S. Department of Justice has taken action, including filing two indictments, arresting one suspect, and seizing 29 financial accounts.
