Deloitte Survey: UK Companies Losing Interest in Investing in the US
ChainCatcher news, according to Jin10, a survey released by Deloitte on Monday shows that the attractiveness of the United States as an investment destination has significantly declined in the eyes of UK business executives, who are now more optimistic about opportunities in the domestic and nearby markets.
Deloitte's survey of CFOs from large UK companies indicates that only +2% of respondents consider the US an attractive investment location, a sharp drop from the end of 2024 (just before Trump's inauguration, where it was +59%).
In contrast, Deloitte states that UK business executives' interest in their domestic market has clearly increased, with the net attractiveness of investing in the UK rising from -12% to +13%, making it jointly the most attractive investment destination alongside India.
