Software development company Polaris Office joins the Korean stablecoin craze
ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptonews, the software development company Polaris Office has applied for a trademark, joining the stablecoin craze in South Korea. The company is known for its namesake office software suite and has submitted 102 trademark applications to the Korean Intellectual Property Office, covering three main categories: "computer software and programs related to crypto assets," "electronic finance, payment institutions, and crypto asset brokerage services," and "blockchain-based technology services and software development."
Polaris has launched a crypto asset called Polaris Share (POLA) and listed it on cryptocurrency trading platforms such as Bithumb. In addition, the Korean financial group BNK has also applied for 25 stablecoin trademarks, including stablecoin trademarks for Busan Bank and Gyeongnam Bank. South Korean President Lee Jae-myung plans to pass a series of stablecoin-related laws within weeks.
