Official U.S. statistics show that over the past 15 years, the U.S. has achieved a cumulative surplus of $410 billion in trade of goods and services with Brazil.

In light of this, any unilateral tariff measures will be met with reciprocal responses based on Brazil's "Commercial Reciprocity Law."
